Chief swagger Murdy (middle) is finally nabbed by Belper's Ben & Nick
Belper’s Charter night a few weeks a go was a roaring success with the Tablers of Long Eaton. Record amounts of Swag was liberated from Belper Round Table, a job made considerably easier due to the “blurriness” of the gentlemen of Belper on the evening.
The following day, upon realising that their prized trophies had gone missing, literally minutes of painstaking detective work by Belper members Ben and Nick (pictured) managed to identify the suspects. The fiendish gang from Long Eaton, lead by the debonair Robert “The Cat” Murdy (pictured centre), finally surrendered their haul to Ben and Nick at Long Eaton’s September business meeting.
