What is Tabling?
Tabling is a group for men aged 18 – 45. It’s a group for men who want to find and experience the extra special in their social lives. Activities are diverse – we scuba dive, shoot clay pigeons, drive wacky cars, eat lots offood and wahs it down with the odd pint or two. We climb mountains, ride long distances on bikes, race maggots and much much more. You don’t have to be super fit to take part but a good sense of humour helps.
Along with the activities the members of LERT also raise money for local people who find themselves in need. At Christmas we collect money from local people in out Christmas collection – this money is then used to buy food hampers to donate back into the community.
How do I find out more?
You don’t have to be invited to join Table, so long as you fit the age category and commit to attending our fortnightly meetings where possible, you are most welcome. When you contact our membership officer they will reply back with dates of our upcoming events and arrange for you to be included in our numbers. On the night we can arrange to pick you up from home so that you turn up knowing at least one tabler already and you will be fully included in the night so that you can meet the other members and get a good feel for what the group is about.

Unfortunately Long Eaton’s float does not venture as far as Burton. You could try contacting Burton Round Table via the Area 14 website: http://www.area14.co.uk
